Your manuscript’s journey begins with Pub Track™, a cloud-based software that monitors your manuscript’s progress. It manages tasks, deadlines, discussions, and allows for file uploads/downloads. A timeline with key dates will be set for you and the Flint team.

The Flint Group Publication Steps.
Many publication consultants will give you a quick time frame and no schedule. They may have a client management system with a calendar, but they do not take the time to set it up for your project. We will give you a schedule and it will be set up on a calendar with key dates.
Submit Manuscript
We seek authors who can creatively express their unique perspectives. The Flint Groups is unlike many other publishers who will take any manuscript. We are a small company that focuses on each and every author with personal service.
Initial Consultation
In contrast to large publishers who have project managers handling up to 90 different authors simultaneously, we are more focused on supporting our authors. Our goals and mission start here with you and a phone call to answer your questions.
Manuscript Editing and Proofreading
Our goal is to preserve your unique voice but provide suggestions to enhance the language, readability, and coherence of your manuscript. Choose between light or heavy editing based on your needs with developmental editing available.
Cover Design
Unlike other self-publishing concierge companies, we do not submit a variety of templates or use the inexpensive format oriented online design services. We want you to have a completely customized cover design created for you that sells your book.
Formatting
We will acquire the BISAC ISBN, set up the categories, register the book’s title, and place a unique ISBN code on each file so your book to be sold in more places than just Barnes & Noble or Amazon. Formatting includes creating files for perfect bound, hardbound, epubs, and Amazon Kindle.
Distribution
Your book’s reach depends on the publishing plan you choose. Our comprehensive plans connect you to over 40 top retail platforms, indie bookstores, online retailers, and global chains. As a publisher, we have no conflict of interest since we charge a fee and not a commision.
After the initial meeting and reviewing the status of your manuscript, the journey begins with PubTrac™. This proprietary software will track and communicate where your manuscript is at in the process.
A timeline will be setup with key dates for you and the Flint team to follow and communicate it’s progress.
